Fuchsia is for classes to build on your established foundation. They are for experienced movers comfortable working with less individual guidance.
Advanced
Blue is for classes that challenge experienced movers with greater resistance, range, and coordination. These classes require advanced experience and healthy, stable joints.

Hali
Founder & Movement Educator
Hali brings 20+ years of Pilates and yoga experience, extensive movement training, and a deep curiosity about how bodies move, adapt, and heal. Her own experiences with injury and rehabilitation shaped her belief that movement can help us build resilience and stay connected to the lives we love.
She created Awake Bodies as a welcoming place to understand your unique body, build strength and awareness, and find movement that works for you. Hali especially loves problem-solving, helping people move with greater freedom and confidence, and sharing what she’s learned with the next generation of movement teachers.

Gayle
Nia Black Belt Instructor
Gayle is a 1st-degree Nia Black Belt teacher who has been practicing and teaching since 2004. She brings years of experience working with musicians, neurodiverse communities, and Parkinson’s groups, creating joyful, welcoming movement experiences for a wide range of bodies.

Mercy
Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher
Mercy discovered Pilates through her own journey with back and hip pain and now brings that experience to her teaching. Her classes blend thoughtful movement with plenty of laughter, helping you leave feeling stronger, brighter, and a little lighter in spirit.

Lenny
Pilates Instructor
Lenny brings a background in ballet and comprehensive Pilates training, with a special appreciation for movement as both exercise and rehabilitation. Her classes focus on building strength, balance, and confidence in a welcoming environment.

Amy
Massage Therapist & Pilates
Amy has practiced massage therapy since 2000 and brings her deep understanding of the body into her Pilates teaching. She loves how Pilates supports body, mind, and spirit and is excited to help others build strength, awareness, and a deeper connection with their bodies through thoughtful, supportive movement and practice.

Lindsey
Movement & Breath Facilitator
Lindsey brings a background in professional dance, the GYROTONIC® Method, nervous system study, and breath work. Her sessions explore movement, breath, and postural and emotional alignment, helping you listen more deeply to your body and move through life with greater ease.

Pilates & Movement Instructor
Kelsey brings a background in dance, yoga, and Pilates, which she discovered while rehabbing back pain from scoliosis. Her classes focus on body awareness, alignment, and strength, helping you feel good in your body, build resilience, move with confidence, and keep doing the things you love with greater ease, awareness, and lasting strength.

Mckenzie
Senior Instructor
McKenzie brings a welcoming, thoughtful approach to Pilates, yoga, and movement, with a special focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation. She also trains dancers and theater artists at Central Washington University—and when she’s not teaching, you’ll likely find her with her giant schnoodle, Hercules, who may or may not be in charge.
